My suggestion is
1)First Search for your academic project in CSIR Laoratories /R&D Govt laboratories,contact the scientists ,mail your abstract/area of interest ,if it suits with the scientists profile you will get the offer.
2) Secondly in Biotech Companies,mail your Resume along with your HOD's/Principal Reference letter ,or get a reference of an employee in that respective company and apply your Resume for requesting to offer a project.
3)At Last Thirdly ,if u won't find the project in the above stated cases , then go to the Private institutes offering projects for payment ,here i have listed some institutes offering Biotech Projects in Hyderabad for payment.
