PGECET-Post Graduate Common Entrance Test , is conducted by APSCHE & Osmania Univ ,it is a commom MTech (All branches) Entrance Exam for entry into MTech just like EAMCET for BTech .
A student of BTech Biotech (other eligible graduates are MSc Life sciences ,MBBS and BDS)has to apply for PGECET (every year in the month of May notification) and opt for MTech Biotech ,a seperate exam for MTech Biotech is being conducted and result will be generated /ranks alloted to the students of that branch seperately.
And the student has to attend the couselling and choose the MTech Biotech course in Univ/colleges offering it .they are
1)IST ,JNTU campus ,Hyd
2)Osmania Univ College of Engg ,Hyd
3)College of Engg ,Andhra Univerasity ,Visakhapatnam
4)Nagarjuna Univ.,Guntur
5)Sreenidhi Engg college ,ghatkesar,Hyd
6)CMR Engineering College,Hyd
Only for the above mentioned Univ /Colleges a student has to opt MTech Biotech through PGECET .
